- Orientation Training - a one week introduction to common iiNet processes, corporate structure, culture, products and systems.
- Graduate Development Induction - a one week introduction to life as an iiNet Graduate. You'll gain valuable skills in areas such as presenting, team building and goal setting. As part of the induction you will also get the chance to meet the iiNet leaders, where you'll learn about who they are, what they do and why they work for iiNet.
- Just before settling into our Capability Development Program, you'll spend one week in each of iiNet's core business units, gaining knowledge and understanding of each area.
- You'll embark on a 9 month Capability Development Program - 3 month department rotational system.
- Personal Development Workshops covering:
- Communication skills.
- Business skills training.
- Negotiating, influencing, problem solving and decision making skills.
- Learning how to initiate, implement and cope with change in the workplace.
- You'll have a Buddy assigned to you to help you settle into the iiNet way of life.
- You'll have a Coach (a Senior Manager) who can provide you with support/advice and create an 'individual development plan' for you.
- You will work on a Team Project which you'll present to a senior stakeholder at the end of your first year.
- You'll be invited to attend monthly graduate luncheons.
Following on from our Capability Development Program, graduates will spend their second year in your chosen specialised field.
You will:
- Receive technical training and skill development (both internal and external training and development).
- Join the Graduate Alumni and attend networking events with past graduates.
- Be invited to attend careers fairs to talk to the next generation of graduates.
- Take on the role of being a Buddy - mentoring our new batch of first year grads.
