setup dialup for windows 2000
Creating a New Connection: This will assist in helping you setup a dialup network connection for Windows 2000 and Windows ME.
- Click Start then Settings then Control Panel
- In Control Panel double click on Network and Dialup Connections (this is called just Dialup Connections in ME)
- Double click on the Make New Connection icon.
- You will now be guided through the New Connection Wizard
- Click Next to start the process
- Select the option Dial-up to the Internet
- Click Next to continue
- Select the last option I Want to set up my Internet Connection Manually ...
- Click Next to continue
- Select the option I connect through a phone line and a modem
- Click Next to continue
- Type the correct dialup number 0198 379 000
- click Next to continue
- Enter your iiNet username and password
- Click Next to continue
- Type a name for the connection
- Click Next to continue
- Select No so that you don't setup an e-mail account just yet.
- Click Next to continue
- You have now completed the first part of the setup
