Entourage v.X and 2004 Setup
Open the Entourage application from Macintosh HD:Applications:Microsoft Office:Entourage
1. Welcome Screen
If this is the first time you have setup Entourage you will be prompted to setup a new email account. Do so now by following the screens below. If you have already setup an account in Entourage once before and wish to setup a new iiNet email account, simply go to Entourage, Account Settings, New and follow the same procedure outlined below.
2. General Information
Always choose to not import anything.
Enter your email address.
Note that the error displayed below will always occur - Entourage cannot use Automatic Configuration for your iiNet email account.
3. Mail Server Details
Fill in the details as you would normally. Remember to change the incoming mail server type to POP. Its a good idea to save the password to your Mac OS X keychain so that Entourage does not keep prompting you for your password.
4. Account Verification
You will be prompted to Verify your settings. You don't have to but you can by clicking the Verify My Settings Button. If you are not connected to the internet this process will fail.
If you don't choose to verify your settings you will be prompted as per below. Clicking Skip will bypass settings verification.
You have now setup a mail account in Entourage.
