how it works
Setting up a wireless Internet network works by using an ADSL broadband wireless modem/router as your main point of access to the Internet. Wireless network adapters are then installed into all computers/devices that will be connected to your network. See the diagram in setting it up for ideas on how you can set up your home wireless network.
selecting the right hardware
All you need to get your wireless network up and running is a few pieces of hardware. To access and share the Internet, we currently offer the Belkin Wireless 4 Port ADSL 2/2+ Router with VoIP unit , which also includes an inline filter. This is the central point from which you can share Internet over a wireless network.
To connect additional devices to your network you will need to get a wireless network adapter for each device.
Note: If you have a computer which is directly connected to the wireless modem/router (via an Ethernet blue cable) you will not need an additional wireless card/adapter for that computer. Also, many laptops now come fitted with wireless adapters, if you are unsure, the manufacturer of your laptop should be able to provide assistance.
Choosing the right hardware is easy as we've teamed up with Belkin to offer the most advanced wireless network products on the market. Below is a brief description of the hardware you will need.
