Better Business Management

Trying to squeeze 40 hours into a 10 hour day? If so, it’s important to put aside time each week to establish processes and systems that will save you time and money.

5 things to work on to give you back more time:

Make yourself redundant.

  • Document process manuals, organise filing structures, establish induction programs. Make it easy for employees to run your business without you.

Get a bookkeeper.

  • Less time spent managing accounts means more time spent on growing your business.
    • Apps: Xero — great remote access accounting platform

Manage your customer relationships.

  • Build a relationship with your customers/clients and develop an ongoing communication strategy. Keeping customers is easier, less costly and less time consuming than targeting new ones.

Manage your business.

  • Ensure tasks are recorded, allocated, followed-up and completed. Running as small business can sometime seem like you are swimming in a sea of tasks. If you don't get them out of your head they will never get done. Completing tasks is also very motivating.

Engage your staff

  • A partner will provide much greater value than an employee. Engagement = Quality = Confidence = Increased Delegation.
