Enhance Entertainment was started in 2000 by Alison Clarke (Director), a professional performer and event supplier with many years experience.

Today, Enhance Entertainment has grown into a successful business, run by Alison Clarke and Gavin George, and driven by their vision to be the best Australian entertainment supplier. The company now is one of the leading industry entertainment agents in the market, with over 5000 talented performers on their books.
Enhance Entertainment’s business is online driven, and being on 24/7, 365 days a year is fundamental to their success. All business is done via the website, where clients can review talent material and videos, and the talent communicates and engages Enhance via the website’s backend and customised CRM system.
Business partners, Gavin George and Alison Clarke, were both experienced entertainers in the music industry and had built a strong network of industry contacts between then. They saw an opportunity to provide high level entertainment services to corporate clients – an industry they felt provided a niche market for them.
They decided to dive into the business side of the industry, and do things from backstage instead of front stage.
One of the first things they diagnosed was that communication between talent and the client was poor, so this was a primary focus in structuring their business.
“Our initial business goal was simple; to excel at what we did. We knew early on in this piece, that great communication between our clients and talent was fundamental to our success,” said Gavin George, Marketing Manager and Business Analyst, Enhance Entertainment.
Over the years, Enhance Entertainment’s telecommunications needs have changed and grown substantially since its early days as a startup.
“As our business grew, our IT and communication solutions needed to be cutting edge. Without the proper technology and supplier flexibility to support our business needs and growth, it would have been challenging to service our clients and the talent on our books as well as we have.”
Over the years, Enhance Entertainment’s telecommunications needs have changed and grown substantially since its early days as a startup.
Originally the business started with VoIP and a basic internet connection due to low volume use. As time progressed, and more and more videos and audio were being uploaded to the website, their bandwidth requirements increased proportionally. This is where iiNet came into its own. Managing their small business consumed the majority of their time, and Gavin appreciated iiNet taking the initiative and upgrading their package to suit their business needs and ensure they were on the most cost effective solution.
“The fact that iiNet automatically upgraded us and increased our bandwidth during an incredibly busy period was exceptional. It took the pressure of us. We were too busy running the business to notice that our bandwidth requirements increased and our current plan was not cost effective,” added Gavin.
Today Enhanced Entertainment is on iiNet’s Business 2 plan, which delivers fast ADSL broadband at great value, and Business VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) which works just like a traditional landline phone service but at a fraction of the cost.
“We have been so happy with iiNet’s customer service and their products, that we are now investigating their cloud offering.
