Notice of Disconnection of Internet Dial-up services with the service numbers containing prefix 0198
We are discontinuing 0198 Dialup services on 30 June 2022. Customers still using 0198 numbers for Dialup internet access will need to take action to find an alternative broadband service before 30 June 2022.
Dialup use has declined continuously over the past decade. With the decision of a key supplier to retire the service, coupled with the expanded availability of various home internet solutions such as NBN™, we are retiring old Dialup internet services for the small number of customers who still use them.
We advise customers that their current service will stop working if they do not take any action to find an alternative broadband service before 30 June 2022.
