All Home Wireless Broadband plans are available on a no lock-in contract.

How am I billed for my Home Wireless Broadband service?

Home Wireless Broadband is provided on a prepaid basis. You must pay the monthly recurring charges in advance. iiNet will debit your bank account/credit card 7 days prior to the end of the billing period for the following billing period’s monthly charge.

Are there any excess charges?

No, it isn’t possible to accrue any excess charges with Home Wireless Broadband.

Do I need to purchase any new hardware or equipment to use Home Wireless Broadband?

To use Home Wireless Broadband, you must use the Home Wireless Broadband Smart Modem Gateway supplied by us. All our new Home Wireless Broadband customers will get this modem included with their plan.

What is the Home Wireless Broadband Smart Modem Gateway Non-return fee?

If you receive a new modem (RRP $192) with your order, you’ll pay $0/mth when you stay connected over 24 months. However, if you cancel your plan or your service is withdrawn within 24 months, you won’t need to pay out the modem, as long as it’s returned to us in Good Working Order within 21 days of cancellation/withdrawal. Otherwise, you’ll need to pay $8/mth for each remaining month. Max modem non-return fee is $192.

If you receive a refurbished modem within your order, there is no modem non-return fee for refurbished modems. However, iiNet retains ownership of the modem – so if you cancel your plan or your service is withdrawn, the refurbished modem must be returned to iiNet within 21days of cancellation/withdrawal.

Is there a cancellation fee for Home Wireless Broadband?

Home Wireless Broadband is only available on a no lock-in contract, so there's no contract break fee if you cancel in the first 24 months of your plan.

If a new modem is provided, a non-return fee may apply if you don’t return the modem within 21 days of cancelling your service or your order being withdrawn. Please refer to our Pricing Schedule for more details.
